It will also take steps to ensure that face-to-face contact is reduced where appropriate.
Part of the process of restarting operations or activities PTM travel will carefully review government guidance regarding PPE (personal protective equipment) requirements on an ongoing basis. Depending on the proximity of the client-guide, client-private trip organizer, client-assistant, etc., in an area in which these measures are applied, and whenever it is considered necessary, they will wear protective clothing, which could include face masks and disposable gloves. Face masks will be available to customers at all times. All standard operating procedures have been reviewed and updated accordingly, based on local code and regulations.
It is a requirement that all our clients notify our team prior to their arrival should they or any member of their traveling party display any symptoms of Covid-19.
This delicate and important aspect must be done in coordination with the clients’ accommodation to make alternative arrangements at no additional charge.
As an additional precaution, PTM travel will ask all clients to undergo a contactless temperature check prior to arrival and complete a complete electronic registration form.
If the temperature check reveals a fever or a temperature above the threshold indicated by health authorities, or if a client has any other symptoms compatible with Covid-19, we will proceed with safety, traceability and quarantine protocols.
The responsibility of the traveler or client is of great relevance to avoid further infections or a resurgence of covid-19.
